For your information here are the details of the opening times of Irish Banks over the Christmas and New Year period 2013/2014.
Most Banks will be closed from lunchtime on Christmas Eve Tue 24th Dec and will not reopen until Monday 30th December.
The majority of banks will close at 12.30 on Christmas Eve 24th December
25th December Christmas Day – Bank Holiday – all branches closed
26th December St Stephens Day – Bank Holiday all branches closed
27th December Friday – Bank Holiday . All branches closed
28th December Saturday – all branches closed.
1st January 2014 – Wednesday . Bank Holiday . All branches closed .
The Christmas opening times for Post Offices will also be much the same as the banks – with all Post Offices closing at 1pm on Christmas Eve. The Post Offices will open as normal on Saturday Dec 28th .
