As we reported earlier – the problems at Ulster Bank don’t seem to be improving . With today being payday for many workers – there are reports of large queues at Ulster Bank branches all over the country as people try to withdraw cash.
Naas and Sligo branches were very busy at lunchtime today as was the branch in Lisburn -” people were queuing out the door” according to one unhappy customer.
Last week we were told it would be fixed by Monday, on Monday that was changed to Friday, and now we are being told it could be some time “early next week”.
On Thursday, Ulster Bank’s chief executive Jim Brown said he hoped normal service would resume next week but was unable to give any guarantees
Ulster Bank are opening the following branches on Saturday from 10am to 3pm .
