As of this evening (Feb 16th) EBS Building Society have stopped offering fixed rate mortgages to new customers. The fixed rates have been removed from their website – which now only shows variable rates. This might be a temporary measure – but it comes soon after they announced an increase to their variable rate of 0.60% from April 1st.
