When are the Banks in Ireland Open over Christmas 2021 ?
People are making fewer visits to banks these days – because of online banking, banking apps and ATMs there is less need to go into a bank. There are also less bank branches open than there were even a year ago.
But – for those of you who might need to get to a bank or Post Office in Ireland around Christmas 2021 and New Year 2022- here are the Banks Christmas Opening Hours 2021.
(Applies to all banks Ulster Bank , BOI, PTSB, AIB , EBS, KBC )
- All Banks in Ireland will close at lunchtime on Friday 24th December (Christmas Eve) The banks will remain closed until Thursday , December 30th .
- Post Offices will close at 1pm on Dec 24th and will not reopen until Thursday 30th December.
- Post Offices and Banks will also be closed on 3rd January 2022 .
- Credit Unions will all have slightly different opening times. Check with your own branch for confirmation of opening times.
