The UK based Nationwide Building Society is now offering savings accounts to Irish customers. Nationwide UK (Ireland) has opened for business in Dublin this week. Nationwide is the biggest Building Society in the world and is still a mutual company with no shareholders.  They have 14m customers and balances of over £200bn (c.€220bn).

Fixed 6 months : 3.02%, minimum €3000

    The rates are not any more attractive or indeed as good in some cases as the interest rates already there.
    Is there any bank out there prepared to offer good rates like Anglo? You have to hand it to Anglo even with their reputation they are offering much more attractive rates in general than compared to other banks.
