Best Buy Tracker Mortgages
After a few more interest rate rises in early July - the tracker mortgage rates compare as follows:
For 80% or less Loan to Value NIB still provide the best tracker rates from ECB plus 0.5% to ECB plus 0.8% (4.8%). The rate you get from NIB is different for each LTV. For example an LTV of 50% or lower gets you ECB plus 0.5%, an LTV of 60% gets you a tracker rate of ECB plus 0.6% , LTV of 70% gives you ECB plus 0.7% etc. etc. up to max 80% LTV.
For loans over 80% of the value of house the rates are nowhere near as good - the lowest tracker rate is ECB plus 1.35% - from several lenders Halifax , EBS and ICS.
