Mobile Broadband Compared - Bill Pay

When comparing prices  of bill pay mobile broadband  in Ireland – there  isn’t very much difference in the charges from the various suppliers. The figure of €19.99 a month seems to be a very popular price to charge. Only Vodafone  break the mould by charging €19.90 a month – so they are the cheapest (just)

Given that the prices for mobile broadband in Ireland are pretty much the same for all providers – it is things like coverage and download limits that are the main things to look out for when choosing a provider.
Coverage will vary according to location – so you really need to try it out if possible before you buy or at least check the providers coverage maps.

Billpay Mobile Broadband Download Limits and Prices

Three charge    €19.99 a month for a  data limit of 15Gb; Contract 12 months ;  modem  €19 (online)  . Charge of of 5cent per Mb over the limit.
They also do a €9.99 option – with a 1Gb  monthly limit  and Three also do a  60Gb limit option for  €29.99 a month.

If you live in an area covered by the National Broadband Scheme – you can get an even better deal. Three will let you have a 25Gb monthly data limit for €19.99 a month.  That works out at €1.25 per Gb. You can check if your house is covered by the NBS on the Three Ireland Website

Vodafone do a 10Gb capped mobile broadband for  €19.90 a month
Free Modem available.     Contract  12 months. (15% off for Vodafone Mobile Phone customers).  2c per Mb charge for out of bundle usage.
Vodafone also do an option with a  higher 15Gb limit and  higher speeds of upto 14.4Mbps for €24.99 a month.

Meteor charge €19.99 a month for a 10Gb data limit.     Modem Cost €29;  Contract 12 Months. 2c perMb charge for usage above the limit. (14 day trial available)
Meteor also do a bill pay option with 30Gb  for €24.99 a month  (18 month contract)

eMobile also do mobile broadband for €19.99 a month with a 10Gb Limit ; 12 month contract. 2C perMb for over usage.
